Cinnamon Blomquist & Friends – December 6th, 2026

from $23.00

For those who recall Cinnamon’s lively debut performance last JOSA season, imagine all of that with some special guest performers doing a set of the Brazilian composer Antoniz Carlos Jobim she’s calling “SOUNDS of IMPANEMA/MOJO BLUE.”

Joining Cinnamon as part of the JOSA Ensemble are Jeremy Hill on bass with Gabe Stillman on saxophone and special guest vocalist, Grace Rapetti.

Cinnamon Blomquist is a versatile flutist and passionate jazz improviser whose musical journey has taken her around the world, touring nationally and internationally performing instrumental music. A dedicated musician and lifelong student of the art form, she studied at both Oberlin College and the Berklee College of Music, where she deepened her craft and honed her improvisational skills studying privately with jazz luminary, Hal Crook.

In addition to her musical journey, she is an ordained minister and Hospice Chaplain, offering comfort and peace through music to patients in their homes. Her playing—deeply intuitive and heartfelt—serves not just as performance, but as a healing presence.

She also serves as a flutist in the Army Band in Massachusetts, adding military musicianship to her diverse resume. When she’s not in uniform or at a bedside, she is on a “jazz quest” with other passionate musicians across New Hampshire and Massachusetts, continually exploring and expanding the language of jazz.

Gabe Stillman is a clarinetist and saxophonist living in Boston, MA. Growing up, he studied woodwinds with Bill Vint, Linda Poland, and Bob Bowlby, before pursuing a Bachelor's of Music Education at Illinois Wesleyan University. After joining the Army Ground Forces Band at Fort Bragg, NC, Gabe now serves as the Executive Officer of the 215th National Guard Band of Massachusetts.

Grace Rapetti is an accomplished musician based in Newport, NH, often giging around the Upper Valley. As co-owner of Ravenhouse Guitar Claremont where she teaches voice and songwriting, she has shared stages with John Mayer, Willie Nelson, and the Eagles, among others. Her voice will charm you with her evocative soul!
